Religious Facilities Emanuel Lutheran Church First Methodist Church Grace Hill Mennonite Church Grace Lutheran Church Messiah Lutheran Church Trinity Methodist Addition Grace Hill Mennonite Church Grace Hill Mennonite Church in Whitewater, Kansas This project added a new larger sanctuary and converted the existing sanctuary into a new social hall, including the addition of a new kitchen. An elevator was included to make the basement floor accessible. The sanctuary uses laminated timber arches and masonry walls to produce a simple and attractive worship space. The design provided roof forms which tie the new and existing buildings together and produce unified church floor plan. The project was built with a Construction Manager and the congregation did much of the work themselves.
